WHAT IS PERMANENT EYEBROW MAKE UP?

Permanent eyebrow makeup at VOSHE ART is a modern method designed to emphasize one's natural beauty, taking into account each individual's unique preferences. Unlike old techniques permanent makeup or microblading techniques that created scars, remained visible for a lifetime, and were difficult to remove, the approach at VOSHE ART is vastly different.

Created by expert Karolina Wojdyla, the pigmentation process at VOSHE ART focuses on light, natural, and biologically compatible eyebrow growth. In the past, natural eyebrow hairs were often removed to make way for a "new shape," which was a significant mistake. With the modern technique employed at VOSHE ART, each hair is treated with respect, and a personalized shape is crafted for each individual, resulting in a more natural and harmonious appearance.

HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT OF THE TRATMENT LAST?

The effect of modern permanent makeup, such as the techniques used at VOSHE ART, can last for quite some time. These techniques are characterized by subtlety and naturalness, as well as the use of safe and lightweight pigments that are gently introduced into the skin. Over time, these pigments gradually lighten, eventually becoming transparent and fading away rather than being refreshed. The fronts of the eyebrows always remain lighter, creating a gradient or tonal transition known as ombre. The natural permanent makeup created by VOSHE ART owner Karolina Wojdyla is a completely different method of pigmentation than older techniques,

which involved black, blue-gray tattoos applied deep into the skin and lasted a lifetime.

Permanent eyebrow makeup is a treatment whose effects last for an extended period, but it is not possible to definitively determine exactly how long they will last.

Various factors influence this, which are highly individual for each person.

Factors to consider include health status, medical history, medications taken, age, metabolism, skin type and texture, daily care, and lifestyle.

Due to these diverse aspects, the effect of permanent eyebrow makeup can last for one year in some cases, and even 2-4 years in others. In most cases, the average duration is about 2 years. It is worth noting that modern permanent makeup gradually becomes lighter over time, due to the body's natural metabolic processes. Therefore, it is recommended to refresh the makeup from time to time to maintain the continuity of the beautiful effect and the aesthetic appearance of the eyebrows.

Regularly refreshing the makeup and following recommendations allows for a longer-lasting effect, emphasizing the natural beauty of the eyebrows.

To prepare for the permanent eyebrow makeup treatment, consider these important steps:

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications (e.g., aspirin) at least 24 hours before the appointment.

  • Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, and tanning creams at least two weeks prior to the procedure.

  • Do not undergo skin-peeling treatments such as fruit acid peels, microdermabrasion, or chemical peels at least two weeks before the appointment.

  • Leave your eyebrows alone for at least two weeks before the procedure, without plucking, applying henna, laminating, or undergoing other eyebrow treatments.

  • Inform us in advance about any allergies, skin conditions, or medical concerns so that we can address your individual needs.

  • If you are taking medications or consuming herbal teas/drinks, discontinue them at least 3 weeks before the procedure.

  • It is recommended to arrive at the appointment wearing your usual everyday makeup so that we can better assess your preferences and habits.

  • It is important to carefully follow the instructions to achieve optimal results and avoid possible complications.

The healing process after permanent eyebrow makeup treatment: What to expect

Directly after the permanent eyebrow makeup treatment, you may notice some temporary changes:

  • Redness: The skin around the eyebrows may be red immediately after the procedure. This redness can last for a few hours up to two days.

  • Intense color: Although the chosen color may be very natural and light, the color of the eyebrows may appear more intense immediately after the procedure. However, after healing, the color will be significantly lighter.

  • During the approximately 8-week healing phase, the eyebrows will change daily:

  • Peeling process: In the first week after the procedure, the skin begins to peel, and the scabs gradually come off. Once the scabs have completely fallen off, the eyebrows will appear very light, giving the impression that the pigment has settled too weakly - this is normal - day by day the color will become more intense. With proper aftercare and the recommendations of our expert Karolina WojdyÅ‚a, the scabs should fall off quickly and without issues.

  • Aftercare: It is important to carefully follow the instructions to ensure proper healing of the eyebrows. Touching or peeling off the scabs should be avoided.

  • After 8 weeks, you should schedule a so-called reminder or touch-up appointment to make any necessary adjustments.
